Since 2004, Werner Kramer busy with painting. His genre is the abstract painting. This painting style fits his spontaneity. If he sits comfortably in his chair and listens to music, created with him visual images. The conflicting influences of music underline his own way of working. The music gives him artistic inspiration for the next brush stroke. Kramer's works are illusions and fantasies, sometimes partially realistic. Often he also dreams pictures. One of the newest series is called as' sacred dreams. "

These emotions and visions he must paint, immediately. These are often only rough brushstrokes that outline the image. The colors indicate a mess, which is sorted and tamed until later in the resulting image. Kramer paints preferably in oil. For the first designs he usually has not the patience to wait for the dry season. He sometimes sets about the images only in acrylic and recognizes the effect of colors and shapes. The further design and implementation then takes place in oil.
Time and again, the artist his works on, supplemented and corrected in detail and deepened until the colors, gradients and manifestations express what he sees in his mind's eye. He paints and spackles until he brought the harmony that touches him at heart in his color compositions expressed. Even after years, he picks images up again and complements them.
Kramer can not be forced into a specific style room. Despite his stubbornness and large species diversity of his art experts own continuous handwriting was certified. In the years of his artistic activity he can already count several hundred works to his work. He has found his style. His paintings can be divided into series, but are nevertheless always different.

These coloristic words sum up the work created within a surprisingly short time the artist Werner Kramer characterize a work that exudes his rousing enjoy working with colors and testifies to its intuitive sensitivity for colors. His pictures live from the chromatic quality of the color-form-dramaturgy.

Since 2004 he developed with the means of painting their own "color" and "form" self-taught individual works of art by experimenting with the aesthetic potency of colors and different color structures. So continuously created a disparate painterly oeuvre, which is reminiscent of the artist Wassily Kandinsky and Ferdinand Hodler. Information about the artist
Kramer, born in 1954 in Cologne, lives and works as a freelance artist in Huerth. He was born and brought up entirely artless. He has neither the Düsseldorf nor the New York school, but works completely self-taught. The call for feedback from the viewer and the exchange with colleagues and encourage him, and thus lead to a continuous development by trial and error. Kramer presents his works regularly since 2008 and active in numerous exhibitions at home and abroad and on the Internet. Through many contacts he has established himself in the art scene. He is a member of Artclub gallery in Cologne and at the Artist platform Crossart International.

His works
The Four was in the Middle Ages than the number of earthly things. In addition to the four elements, there is the cardinal directions, seasons and temperature elements and the four elements (fire, water, earth, air) as basic components of all being. For Kramer, there is the four in the series "quattro".
With the work "quattro kleinkariert" aims to show the narrow-minded people in the artist. Realistic shapes begin to identify with the work "quattro world". The works to "quattro universe" go from one point of view, from the inside out, interspersed with lines, which can be interpreted as lifelines. In "Criss Cross" is a variation of the Quattro, a crisscross of lines, filled in color. Inspired by the writings of the Old Testament in the Book of Genesis about the creation of Earth Works produced the series "langsyne," the emergence of the sun, the Pillars of the Earth, the celestial bodies, the Gate of Hades or the awakening of the earth, to name a few to call. This series describes "long ago" and presents itself best in old walls. Kramer used here as a basis acrylics, various sands and marble powder and paints over oil. The result is a cracking, which is by design and is meant to symbolize the awakening to new.
In 2006 Kramer painted "colors tears". He has taken up again in his series "Summer Rain," "Rainy Day" and "Nightrain" This topic. Characteristic are the flowing expiring forms. The outer regions are mostly yellow, the colors flow toward the center, symbolizing chutes, waterfall and downs. The image evolves with the part itself. The colors dictate the way and the course. Here Kramer works with solvents that can support this development on the one hand but also prevention.
His inspirations Kramer brings, among other things on his many journeys. He hiked for example, in 2012 a part of the Camino de Santiago and in the summer of 2014 the Rhine from Switzerland to Cologne. On the way he photographed a lot in order to preserve his impressions. These photos can be found painted later in the series "Landscapes" again. This also includes the series "The Way". It is realistic, sometimes surreal images that always recurrently have the elongated path as a motive, the way into the distance, symbolizing the yearning for space and getting ahead.
