Tintoreto

Jakopo Robusti ili Tintoreto (pravo ime: Jakopo Komin, ital. Jacopo Comin, Jacopo Robusti, Tintoretto, 29. septembar 1518 — 27. avgust 1576) je venecijanski slikar iz epohe manirizma, odnosno pozne renesanse. Smatra se poslednjim velikim slikarem ovog pravca.

Alternativno prezime, Robusti, dobio je po ocu koji je bio robusni čuvar kapija Padove, a nadimak Tintoreto, po očevoj profesiji - bojadžijin sin. U početku je bio Ticijanov učenik, ali je ubrzo razvio sopstveni stil. U svom ateljeu je držao natpis koji ga je opisivao: „Mikelađelov dizajn i Ticijanov kolorit“ (Il disegno di Michelangelo ed il colorito di Tiziano). Skoro ceo život je proveo u Veneciji.

Bio je poznat po svom energičnom i brzom maniru slikanja, po kome su ga zvali „furiozni“ (Il Furioso). Najviše je slikao portrete, ali i religijske kompozicije. Koristio je perspektivu i osvetljenje na dramatičan način, zbog čega se smatra pretečom baroknog slikarstva.
